Biography
McRae Cleaveland is a Supervisory Attorney at the Devadoss Law Firm PLLC, McRae primarily focuses on litigating discrimination and adverse employment actions before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB). McRae is a graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. McRae was named as a SuperLawyers Rising Star. Rising Stars is a designation of top-rated practicing attorneys selected through extensive evaluation. He was awarded this distinction for 2024 and 2025. McRae handles internal employment investigations up to and including assisting clients with responding to proposed discipline. Additionally, McRae has experience negotiating settlement agreements on behalf of federal employees. Throughout his legal career, McRae has handled hundreds of cases involving federal government agencies such as USPS, Veterans Affairs, Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Postal Service and many more. In addition to his own practice, McRae supervises and provides guidance to our associate and senior associate attorneys. McRae enjoys football, baseball and his LSU Tigers.
