Biography
Valeczia Hooks is an Associate Attorney with our firm. Valeczia primarily focuses on OWCP and OPM cases and is dedicated to helping federal employees to navigate these very complex systems. Valeczia graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor's of Criminal Justice and earned her Juris Doctorate from Texas Southern University – Thurgood Marshall School of Law. During law school, Valeczia was a student attorney in the Family Law Clinic, where she advocated for her clients to ensure they received the best results in their cases. Based on her performance in the clinic, she was a recipient of a CALI award for “Excellence for the Future.” She was also the President of the Family & Juvenile Law Society, as well as a member of the Student Bar Association board. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, reading, and spending time with friends & family.
