“There I was, performing the duties of a risk manager. I had made a number of positive changes in the program and while all the changes were not appreciated they were all needed. I had kudos from my manager and what seemed like a bright future performing an unpopular but necessary task. The next thing I knew I was being accused of trying to hide a single peer review. No reason or motive was ever given. I was removed from my job for six months while they investigated the matter.
